Privacy Policy

FeeOracle is still in public beta — we're actively building it, so some of the details below may shift as things evolve.

1. What Data We Collect

For the Starter and Pro plans, the only data we hold about you is the public wallet address you paid with. It's already visible on the blockchain to anyone, so we don't collect anything beyond it — no email, no name, nothing else personal. We also count how many API requests you make each day, to apply your plan's daily limit.

For the Signal plan, we collect your Telegram chat ID — we need it to send you alerts, and the plan simply can't work without it.

If you've ever sent our bot a message — even without a paid subscription — we also keep your chat ID along with two timestamps (when you first and most recently messaged it). This is only so we can count how many people use the bot, nothing more.

We look at the IP address behind incoming requests, but only for a moment, to keep the API safe from abuse — we don't store it.

We don't use cookies or connect any third-party analytics (like Google Analytics), as of this writing.

For the Signal plan, we use an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) to write short commentary about network activity we've detected. All it sees is network data — a timestamp, fee measurements and the network load level — never your wallet address, chat ID, or anything else personal. That text goes straight to Signal subscribers as part of their alerts. It won't ever tell you to buy or sell, and it won't try to predict where the price is headed.

2. How We Use This Data

Your wallet address helps us know your plan and when your subscription runs out, handle renewals and plan changes, and restore your API key if you sign a message to prove it's you.

Your Telegram chat ID is used only to send Signal plan alerts and to keep a record of whether each alert reached you — nothing else. The first/last message timestamps just help us count users, not track what any one person does.

3. Data Retention

Unpaid (pending) payments are marked expired after 24 hours and deleted after 60 days.

API plans (Starter, Pro). Your customer data — your wallet address, plan, subscription dates, API key record and daily request counts — is kept while your subscription is active and for 90 days after it ends, so you can come back and keep the same API key. After that it is deleted. Daily request counts older than 90 days are deleted for all customers.

Signal plan. Your subscription record is deleted 90 days after your subscription ends. Your chat ID then stays only in our list of bot users (see below) and in alert delivery records. Records of which alerts were delivered to your chat ID (and any delivery errors) are kept for 180 days from the alert, so we can answer questions about missed alerts.

Telegram bot. If you've messaged our bot, your chat ID and the two timestamps are deleted after 12 months without any messages from you — but not while we still keep a Signal subscription record or a payment linked to that chat ID (see above).

Payments. For confirmed payments we keep the amount, plan, date and transaction signature for our accounting records; after the periods above, the link to your wallet and account is removed. Payments that need manual review (for example, a wrong amount was sent) are kept until the review is finished.

Correspondence and internal notifications. Emails you send us, and our internal operational notifications (which may include a payment's transaction details), are kept separately, as long as needed to handle your request or a payment issue.

Logs and backups. Server logs are kept for about 10 days. Database backups are kept for 2 days, so deleted data disappears from backups within 2 days.

4. Third Parties

We rely on a few outside services to run FeeOracle: Helius for blockchain data and payment confirmation, Telegram for delivering Signal alerts, Cloudflare for offsite database backups (R2) and for forwarding emails sent to our support and privacy addresses to our mailbox at Google (Gmail), and Anthropic to write the Signal plan's commentary text (see Section 1). We don't sell or share your data with advertisers or anyone else.

5. Your Rights

Want your data deleted? Just email us at privacy@feeoracle.com and we'll take care of it.

6. Changes to This Policy

We'll update this policy as the Service changes. The latest version always lives on this page.
